5th Annual GRAD FEST

The Graduate Commons Program was proud to collaborate with the Graduate Student Affairs Circle to once again host "Grad Fest" in the Smith Campus Center. This event was made possible by generous financial support from the Office of the President and many other schools, campus partners and departments.  A special thank you to President Bacow for his continued support throughout his tenure.

This event was not the graduate student equivalent of Yard Fest, although it mimicked its name. Grad Fest was designed for every graduate student (& their families) at Harvard to have the opportunity to gather, socialize with people they may not otherwise meet, and get connected to critical resources that can improve their ability—and their families’ ability—to be well and do their best work.

On September 30, 2022, over 700 people came together to celebrate the diversity of graduate student life at Harvard. Live music, student performances, art installations, and intentionally structured activities promoted meaningful interactions among attendees and supported the development of a more inclusive campus culture.
